Major Scleral Buckle

A 76-year-old patient experienced a car accident several years earlier that resulted in the loss of his right eye (ocular prosthesis) and retinal detachment left eye, treated with scleral buckle. computed tomography scan head (Fig A) showed bilobed globe separated by ring hyperdensity (scleral buckle). Ultra-widefield fundus imaging B) demonstrated major circular indentation delimiting anterior posterior retina. Significant optic disc excavation myopic maculopathy (stage 4) were noted.
